We have two different breeds of sheep, Black Merino and White Merino ,
in the following farms:

- Claros-Montes (municipality of Arraiolos)
- Caeira (municipality of Arraiolos)
- Remendo (municipality of Mora)

Recently some of these areas were converted to permanent grasslands.

The sheep feed on these grasslands and on the holm oak forest, which provides acorns.
